Events take place all over Miami that appeal to both the cultural connoisseur and the urban art lover. There are events of all kinds and tickets available at all price points. We’ve compiled a list of some events you need to mark down on your calendar. ARTE Cuba at Spectrum Miami Discover Spectrum Miami, a five-day contemporary art show featuring a wide selection of artists and galleries from around the world. Unique to the event this year is the exhibition ARTE Cuba. Curated by Stacey Conde, ARTE Cuba will showcase a carefully curated collection of Cuban modern, contemporary and cutting-edge art. ● When: December 2nd -6th ● Where: Spectrum Miami Tent/1700 NE 2nd Ave at NE 17th St Miami, FL 33132 ● Times: December 2nd, 6-10pm December 3rd – 5th, 12-8pm December 6th, 12 noon-5pm Late parties will be held nightly from 7-9pm ● Tickets: Can be purchased at eventbrite.com ● Additional Information: A percentage of all ticket sales will benefit LIFE is Art, a local Miami charity Red Dot Art Fair Red Dot Art Fair will be returning to Miami for its 9th edition, and to celebrate this moment art veteran Jane Sauer will curate the fair. Offering a unique selection of over 70 galleries, Red Dot Art Fair will exhibit the works of emerging, mid-career and established artists. The layout of the show presents visitors with a sophisticated environment to view the artwork presented by the galleries and dealers. ● When: December 1st-6th ● Where: Red Dot Art Fair/3011 NE 1st Ave, at the corner of NE 31st St Miami, FL ● Times: December 1st, 6-10pm December 2nd, 11am-5pm December 3rd-5th, 11am-8pm December 6th, 11am-6pm ● Tickets: Can be purchased at eventbrite.com Miami Project Bringing the best in modern and contemporary art, this year’s show will feature 60 top galleries from around the world in a bright and sunny beachside showcase. The event promises to produce a singularly elegant environment that will allow for visitors to view artwork in the most unique way possible. ● When: December 1st-6th ● Where: Miami Project Pavilion/7275 Collins Ave, Miami Beach, FL ● Times: December 1st, Opening Party 7-10pm December 2nd, 11am-2pm December 3rd-5th, 11am-7pm December 6th, 11am-6pm ● Tickets: Can be purchased through miami-project.com Art Miami One of the most important contemporary art events in the United States, Art Miami attracts more than 82,000 collectors, curators, museum professionals and art enthusiasts from around the globe. In its 26th year, Art Miami remains committed to exposing the most important artworks of the 20th and 21st centuries in collaboration with some of the world’s most respected galleries. ● When: December 1st-6th ● Where: Art Miami Pavilion/3101 NE 1st Ave Miami, FL ● Times: December 2nd-5th, 11am-8pm December 6th, 11am-6pm ● Tickets: Can be purchased at eventbrite.com Miami River Art Fair The Miami River Art Fair was conceived as a way to showcase world-class artists and galleries, while keeping the Miami River at the core of all its events. It has paved the way for artists as the pioneer art fair in the Downtown Miami/Brickell area.
