Miami Spice,
Above It All

Make October's last tables count. A $40 lunch above Brickell offers a starting point for using the dining promotion's final weeks thoughtfully.

There is a particular pleasure in making a reservation you have been putting off. October offers another chance: Miami Spice has been extended through October 31, 2026, giving locals a little more time to turn a restaurant wish list into an actual lunch or dinner.

The temptation is to book the biggest name you recognize. A better starting point is the meal you want to have. An unhurried weekday lunch, a dinner with friends and an ambitious tasting menu are different occasions, even when they appear under the same promotion. Choose the occasion first, then look for the menu that fits.

Brickell

Seia provides one concrete option. On the 54th and 55th floors at 830 Brickell Plaza, the contemporary Italian restaurant lists a three-course Miami Spice lunch for $40, Monday through Friday, from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Its October offer ends on October 30, one day before the wider program concludes.

The restaurant describes views across Miami, Biscayne Bay and the ocean, with seasonal menus from executive chef Alessandro Morrone. For a Miami reader, the appeal is straightforward: a reason to give a weekday lunch the attention usually reserved for a night out.

Treat it as a planned outing. Check the current Spice selections when reserving, leave enough time for three courses and ask about any dietary substitutions before arriving. A set menu works best when everyone at the table knows what they are choosing.

Read beyond the headline price

Across the program, advertised three-course lunch and brunch menus are $40, while dinner menus are $50 or $65. Miami Spice Reserve experiences begin at $95. Those figures are useful starting points for deciding what sort of reservation belongs on your calendar.

They are not a substitute for reading the restaurant's own offer. Before committing, check the eligible days and meal periods, then ask about supplements, beverages, tax and gratuity. Build the evening's budget around the likely total, including transport or parking, rather than the number that first caught your eye.

Value is personal, too. If you would normally skip dessert or prefer two smaller plates, compare the prix-fixe choices with the regular menu. The most satisfying booking is one that includes food you actually want to order.

Make the last reservation count

The October extension is not a reason to assume every restaurant from the summer roster remains involved. Start with the current Miami Spice directory, then confirm the offer directly with your chosen venue. An old social post or saved menu can be a useful lead, but it should not be the final word.

For a group, agree on budget and dietary needs before choosing a table. For a date, think about how much time you want together. For a solo lunch, choose the place you are curious about without waiting for everyone else's calendar to align.

There is no need to race through a checklist before the promotion closes. One well-chosen reservation can be enough: a menu that interests you, a time that works and a clear understanding of the bill. Start there, and let lunch become the occasion.
