Dior Homme brought fashion and art together at The Webster in Miami on December 6, 2017. The private dinner, hosted in partnership with The Webster and Laffanour Galerie Downtown, Paris, celebrated the launch of the Black Carpet Collection during Art Basel Miami.
Kris Van Assche, Laure Heriard Dubreuil and François Laffanour joined the evening. On The Webster’s ground floor, an installation of Isamu Noguchi’s original Akari light sculptures, owned by Laffanour Galerie Downtown, Paris, set the scene.
Six lamps were customized with floral photographs taken by Van Assche and shared on his Instagram account. Applied in the style of an urban street collage, the images brought a personal touch to the sculptures. The lamps were also displayed at the Dior Homme boutique in Miami’s Design District during that year’s Art Basel.
On the guest list
Ricky Martin, Woodkid, Cordell Broadus and Brendon Fallis wore Dior Homme. Laure Heriard Dubreuil and Mia Moretti wore Dior.
Other attendees included A$AP Rocky, Jwan Yosef, Olivier Dwek, Rodman Primack, Hubert Bonnet, Adam Lindemann, Alexandra Roos, Stefano Tonchi and Amy Astley.
