OPEN SKY.
DEEP RHYTHMS.
MIAMI SOUL.
A nightclub’s identity begins long before the first track plays. It lives in the entrance, the arrangement of the room, the objects on the walls and the space between people. At AIRE in Edgewater, those details tell a story that stretches from railroad inspiration and vintage oil lamps to electronic music beneath the Miami sky.
Located at 111 NE 20th Street, the former BOHO has emerged with a new name and a reimagined setting. Its defining feature remains refreshingly elemental: the main room opens to the sky, with covered sections offering shelter. This is nightlife at ground level, where greenery and an open-air dance floor shape the experience.
A new look. A familiar spirit.

For owner Jorge Moreno, the address represents an idea developed over fifteen years.
Moreno purchased the property in 2011. After opening Moreno’s Cuba in Miami Beach in 2013, he began imagining a hospitality concept for Edgewater. Its proximity to Henry Flagler’s historic railroad tracks sparked a vision rooted in an earlier Miami, with the atmosphere of a trading post and an artist’s eye for unexpected details.
In early 2018, that vision became Mr. Wright’s Gold Digger Saloon. Repurposed wood, antiques, stained glass and vintage oil lamps established its richly layered character. Live music ran seven nights a week, giving the collection of objects and architectural textures a soundtrack of its own.
Character in every corner.

During the pandemic, the venue evolved into BOHO. DJs and electronic music, particularly Afro House, became its musical focus. The rustic aesthetic remained, while lush greenery grew into a defining element. The property was developing a visual language that could survive a change in tempo.
The next shift began in May 2026, when Moreno welcomed longtime friends Louis Puig and Aramis Lorie as partners. Together, they turned their attention to atmosphere, guest experience and creative direction, setting the transformation into AIRE in motion.
“The idea was simple: breathe some fresh AIRE into this beautiful, artistic space. Louis is an OG of Miami nightlife, and literally from day one, he instinctively knew how to rearrange the room so the energy would flow in a more positive, organic way. Those changes pushed me to reimagine several areas of the venue while making sure we didn’t lose the original essence that people had come to love.”

That balance between continuity and change runs through the redesign. The facade combines early Art Deco influences with bold colors inspired by Miami’s 1970s disco era. The transformation includes two reconfigured bars, a new DJ booth and a newly activated patio area, giving the venue a fresh arrangement while preserving its artistic character.
Music remains central to the proposition. AIRE’s programming spans house and electronic music, including Afro House, deep house, melodic house and organic house. Resident DJs anchor the calendar, joined by international guests. The venue describes an approach built around extended sets and gradual progression, allowing the music to develop over the course of a night.
For readers discovering AIRE, the appeal lies partly in that layered identity. The saloon’s imaginative origins, BOHO’s electronic evolution and the latest design changes all belong to the same address. Together, they give the venue a backstory beyond its opening announcement.
The name captures Moreno’s intention: fresh energy, openness and space for the next chapter. It also suits a nightclub whose architecture makes the sky part of the setting.
At AIRE, the invitation is to discover how a familiar Miami space can change without losing the details that made it memorable. The music has evolved, the room has been reconsidered, and the story continues beneath the open sky, with Moreno’s original artistic impulse still shaping what comes next for this distinctive corner of Edgewater.
