Reimagined vintage, seventies glamour, and polished monochrome: three distinct points of view from the Fall/Winter 2020 collections in Paris.
Guy Laroche
Guy Laroche’s Transform 20.21 collection revisited 12 vintage pieces, exploring how existing garments could take on a contemporary identity using only materials already available in the house.
Four new beige looks symbolized a renaissance, bringing the recovery and transformation of those materials into focus.

Ingie Paris
Ingie Chalhoub looked to the seventies for a collection of faux leather, fringe, and sequins. The mood paired glamour with a bold sense of personality.
The original coverage highlighted the designer’s admiration for icons such as Jane Birkin: women whose appeal went beyond beauty to embrace individuality, confidence, and drama.

Ryan Roche
Ryan Roche brought her show to Paris for the first time with a collection defined by tailored, oversized wool trenches, overcoats, cashmere sweaters, and monochromatic looks.
The effect was polished and composed, allowing proportion, texture, and tonal dressing to lead the story.
